Super Smash 2021 Concluded with Historic and Tremendous Success

This is the first time Kiera, our tournament robot, was fully deployed. Over 1000+ matches were played in just 2 days! That is a feat of accomplishment in itself!

The first ever badminton tournament for all ages including Junior, Open, and Senior events in Northern California.

The tournament will be hosted at the biggest and newest badminton facility in the USA – Synergy Badminton Academy, Fremont, CA.

Donation Drive

Dear participants:

We’re happy to announce that during Super Smash 2021, ALMS will be hosting a donation drive for Raphael House (https://www.raphaelhouse.org) for new toys, board games and art supplies. Raphael has been in operation for 50 years and has helped countless children and teens. The items we need for this drive are:
> Toys for kids of all ages
> Art supplies/art kits
> Board games
> Books

We all have a box of crayons that has never been used, or received a gift that your child doesn’t want. All of those are great items to donate! Kindly bring them and Rafael House would be more than happy to accept them for children in need. 

Please donate NEW ITEMS ONLY. Used items are not accepted due to hygienic concern.

Parking

  • To support the updated COVID-19 policies, portion of the parking lot will be blocked for resting. Players and spectators can use these areas to rest in between matches
  • While majority of the blocked areas will be shaded, there will be some open areas. You are welcome to bring your own tents and utilize the open areas
  • There are no tables or chairs in any of the rest areas. Please bring your own chairs

  • U9 – must be aged 8 or under as of 12/31/2021 – born year 2013, 2014
  • U11 – must be aged 10 or under as of 12/31/2021 – born year 2011, 2012, and later

Volunteer

We’ll be taking lunch orders (selected dishes) for A Plus HK Style Café on both days. To get your lunch delivered, please order your food before 11:30am at the tournament desk.

Please note that we’ll only accept cash for all lunch orders as the restaurant do not accept credit cards.

Bar Code

Upon registering, every player will receive a confirmation email containing a Confirmation Number and a Bar Code. Please be sure to bring that Bar Code with you as it is used to check in/out, order food/drink, place auction bid, and raffle. You do NOT need to print it out. Just have it handy on your mobile device for scanning.
