National Anthem

A big thanks to Damien Blond, and his 11 years old daughter Natalie Blond, who will be performing the National Anthem for the tournament.

Rules & Regulations

  • In all doubles and mixed events, participant must play with the same partner if playing in different flights of the same event
  • Please check-in at the Check-In desk before your 1st match EACH DAY
  • Each participant in a doubles event must register separately in order to be entered into the draw
  • Participants will not be allowed to start their match until all fees are paid
  • Participants are allowed to register up to a maximum of 4 events
  • Depending on the number of entries, the event format will be Elimination with Consolation or Round Robin
Photo ID
  • Photo ID is required on your 1st check-in at the tournament
  • Acceptable ID includes driver’s licenses, passports, passport cards, state-issued IDs, U.S. military IDs, U.S. military dependent’s ID, tribal card, student photo IDs
Shuttlecock
  • No shuttlecock will be provided. Please bring you own tournament grade shuttlecocks (e.g Yonex AS30, Victor Master 3…etc). (In case when there is shuttlecock sponsorship, the number of free shuttlecock each player will receive is determined by the sponsor)
Spectator
  • Limited spectators are allowed
Inside the Facility
  • Food is not allowed
  • Only sport drink and water are allowed
  • No staging and dwelling
  • Photo and video recording is allowed. Please do NOT use flash
Late Entry
  • After the final registration deadline and prior to the draw is published, it is up to the tournament director’s discretion to accept late entry (the draw is usually published a few days after the final registration deadline)
  • After the draw is published, no late entry is allowed
A, B, C, D, E
  • A, B, C, D, E events are for all ages. Please register according to your skill levels
  • A-E <-> UBR Rating
    A: 7500+
    B: 7000+
    C: 6500+
    D: 6000+
    E: 5500+
  • Participants cannot jump flights. The following event combinations are not allowed:
    any A + any C, or
    any A + any D, or
    any A + any E, or
    any B + any D, or
    any B + any E, or
    any C + any E
  • Maximum of 2 flights per event is allowed

International Players

  • If you are a Canadian, in general, a visa is not required to enter the US and compete in this tournament. But please consult with your local US consulate
  • If you are from a country that participates in the US Visa Waiver Program (VWP), in general, a visa is not required to enter the US and compete in this tournament. But please consult with your local US consulate
  • If you are not a Canadian and your country does not participate in the US Visa Waiver Program, you will need to apply for a B-1 or B-2 visa in order to enter the US and compete in this tournament. Please contact supersmash@alittlemoresupport.org for further instruction on obtaining the required document for your visa application

Silent Auction

Ends 4:30pm on the last day of tournament

An auction is actually going on while you are competing! You can access the bidding interface from any of the Player Kiosks on site. There are a variety of auction items that are being sold at fraction of the price! Auction ends at 4:30pm on the last day of the tournament.

Raffle

Rules
  • Raffle to be held on the last day of the tournament in between the Finals
  • Players will receive 1 (one) free raffle ticket each game day
  • The free raffle ticket will be issued to the players during the daily check-in
  • Additional raffle tickets can be purchased in advance or during the tournament at $2.50 each (Buy 4 get 1 free)
  • In case if the winner is not available at the time of the raffle draw, he/she will be contacted and arrange delivery
  • Raffle ticket is not transferable
  • Raffle ticket has no cash value
  • Raffle ticket cannot be redeemed for cash

PVSA is the highest award for volunteering and community services.

This will be a good opportunity to build up your volunteering hours and work towards your PVSA goal.

Withdrawal

> Prior to the final registration deadline, withdraw completely from the tournament is allowed, and a $25 processing fee will be applied. The total registration fee paid minus the processing fee will be issued using the original method of payment.

> After the final registration deadline and before the draw is published, it is up to the tournament director’s discretion to allow withdrawal completely from the tournament. If complete withdrawal is granted, a $25 processing fee will be applied. The total registration fee paid minus the processing fee will be issued using the original method of payment (the draw is usually published a few days after the final registration deadline).

> After the draw is published,  no withdrawal is allowed, and no refund will be issued.
